Position Summary

A Postdoctoral Research Associate is available to study the tissue and cellular pathology of immune responses in cancer and in wound healing by analyzing molecular features of different cell types in the laboratory of Dr. Michael A. Hollingsworth at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Ideal candidates will have a PhD in cancer biology, cell biology, molecular biology, and/or genetics with relevant skill sets. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, independent, rigorous, and hypothesis-driven scientist who will be expected to participate in training of graduate students, lab meetings, and other duties appropriate to the applicant’s career goals. Required Qualifications

PhD in molecular biology, cancer biology, cellular biology, genetics, or other related field.

Supplemental Qualifications

Experience in bioinformatics and analytics of microscopic imaging and analysis of DNA and RNA sequencing data including single cell analysis.

Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
