Position Highlights

The Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering (AME) and Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Arizona is seeking a postdoctoral candidate for a multidisciplinary project in human-computer interaction, optics, and advanced manufacturing. This project is a collaborative effort between AME, ECE, the College of Optical science at the University of Arizona, and the ECE Department at UCLA. This project requires background and expertise in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Image Processing, Neural Networking, and Visualization.

Duties & Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in the data analysis domain, image analysis, data conversion methods, machine learning, image processing, neural networking, and visualization.
  • Research article, proposal writing, and presentation.
  • Mentoring graduate and undergraduate students.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A Doctoral degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields of study conferred upon hire.
  • Prior experience with Python, Neural Network, machine learning, and MATLAB is required.
