A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Natalia Nieto, in the Department of Pathology, University of Illinois at Chicago

Dr. Natalia Nieto is looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to work in a laboratory focused on Liver Diseases in the Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Applicants should be within one year of completion of their Ph. D.

Priority will be given to applicants with expertise in any of the following areas:

1. Alcoholic liver disease

2. Liver fibrosis

3. Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis

4. Hepatocellular carcinoma

5. Liver immunology

6. Cholangiocyte biology

A solid background in liver disease along with a strong publication record and good spoken and written English are essential to apply for this job.

Candidates will be evaluated based on their CV, an interview, their ability to write an innovative research project, and three reference letters from Faculty members directly involved in the supervision of the candidate, one of which should be from their PhD Thesis advisor.
