Postdoctoral Position in Biomechanical Imaging

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to be located in the Radiology and Imaging Sciences Department in Bethesda, MD. The Postdoctoral Fellow will support a research project on characterizing the biomechanics of the brain in participants with a history of traumatic brain injury using magnetic resonance imaging. The project involves a multidisciplinary collaboration with investigators from Washington University in St. Louis, Johns Hopkins University, the University of Delaware, Uniformed Services University, as well as investigators and clinicians at the NIH. Qualifications:

A doctoral degree in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field is required. Experience working with medical images and performing biomechanical analysis of dynamic images is highly desirable. Programming experience with Python and/or Matlab is required.
