Position Summary | The Head and Neck Oncology lab is seeking a highly skilled, ambitious, and motivated Postdoc to conduct head and neck research both clinical and translational research with the Head and Neck Faculty at UNC-Chapel Hill. The research will focus on the impact of adjuvant chemotherapy to radiation in survival of HPV-negative HNSCC patients as well as the impact of tumor site and adjuvant radiotherapy on survival of patients with adenoid cystic carcinoma. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements | MD, PhD |
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience | Experience with anticancer efficacy of a dual EGFR and HDAC inhibitor (CUDC-101) in salivary mucoepidermoid carcinoma and work experience with the role of CRTC1/MAML2 on mucoepidermoid carcinoma cells. |
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience | At least two years of experience conducting head and neck research. |
