Job Description Summary:
Alzheimer Disease Research Center at the University of Kansas Medical Center is looking for a postdoctoral fellow to study neurodegenerative diseases in human & animal models. Job Description:
Required Qualifications:

• PhD graduate in a biological science with experience in imaging, molecular biology. Proficiency in performing and troubleshooting diverse molecular methods. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Demonstrated teamwork, organizational and planning skills, self-motivation and resourcefulness.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands on imaging and molecular techniques, imaging, and experience with animal models. Knowledge of genetics and C. elegans biology/genetics as an animal model is highly desired.

Job Duties Outlined:

• Study human brain pathology of neurodegenerative disease

• Advanced imaging techniques and genomics data analysis

• FISH and other molecular techniques

• Work with animal models

• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
