Position Overview
The Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology at the University of Idaho is seeking applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in the field of applied economics. The Postdoctoral Fellow will work with Dr. Xiaoli Etienne on a variety of topics, including but not limited to, commodity price analysis, the impact of climate change on commodity markets, and the food-energy-water nexus.

Position Qualifications


Required Experience
  • Experience with Empirical Analysis.
  • Experience with large datasets.
  • Experience with communicating research to both experts and non-experts.
Required Education
  • Ph.D. in agricultural economics, applied economics, economics, resource economics, finance, or statistics.
Required Other
  • Some travel is required to complete job duties and to present at conferences
