A Postdoctoral candidate with extensive expertise in Tissue Engineering approaches for mineralized tissue regeneration is needed for a newly funded NIH award.  Significant expertise with scaffold fabrication, primary cell culture, histological and immunohistochemical analyses of mineralized tissues is preferred.  The successful candidate will work to create bioengineered alveolar jaw bone and tooth constructs for repair of craniofacial defects.  Research will be conducted in the Yelick Laboratory, located on the Tufts Medical Campus in Boston, Boston MA. 

The successful candidate will have a recent PhD and relevant publications on research in the field of Tissue Engineering, have excellent communication and organizational skills, be highly motivated, dependable, productive and able to work effectively with others.  The selected Postdoc will have the opportunity to oversee the research efforts of graduate and undergraduate students, and technicians, to facilitate his/her research.
