The Systems Engineering Programs began in 2008 and offers graduate-level degrees including a Master of Engineering (M.E.), a Master of Science (M.S.), a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), a Doctor of Engineering (D.Eng.), and a graduate certification in Systems Engineering Practice. Systems Engineering gained full Department status in 2019. | Position Summary | This is an OPEN POOL posting and applicants will be contacted only if a suitable position becomes available. The Department of Systems Engineering (https://www.engr.colostate.edu/se) at Colorado State University (Fort Collins campus) invites applications for Postdoctoral Fellowship positions to pursue research in design, optimization, assessment, and/or management of complex engineered systems. Postdoctoral fellows will engage in groundbreaking, multi-disciplinary research in close collaboration with research groups in the Systems Engineering Department and other departments at CSU. Candidates with a demonstrated research background in one or more of the following topics are encouraged to apply: 1. Energy Systems 2. Automotive Systems 3. Transportation Systems 4. Human Factors 5. Cybersecurity 6. Model-based Systems Engineering 7. Design optimization, controls, and analytics 8. Situational robotics and awareness 9.
