Position Summary:

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow for Center for Immunity and Inflammation. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (Assistant Professor), the primary purpose of the Postdoctoral Fellow position is to perform specialized research activities and design and execute advanced experimental procedures in an immunology-focused
laboratory independently.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Designs and conducts experiments to achieve research aims assigned by the PI.
• Maintains detailed and accurate experimental records.
• Prepares scientific manuscripts under the direction of the PI.
• Maintains and organizes experimental equipment, lab spaces, animal colonies and reagents.
• Participates and presents in lab meetings, seminars and conferences.
• Keeps abreast with the current scientific literature relevant to the assigned project.
• Communicates with the PI and other lab members regularly.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Ph.D. or equivalent in immunology or related areas is required.
