Postdoctoral Fellow or Associate Research Scientist in Valvular and Vascular Biology and Imaging

Updated: about 2 months ago
Location: New Haven, CONNECTICUT
Deadline: 04 May 2024

The Sadeghi lab at Yale Cardiovascular Research Center (New Haven, Connecticut) is recruiting new members to investigate the molecular mechanisms of aortic aneurysms, angiogenesis, and fibrocalcific aortic valve disease, and to develop related therapies and molecular imaging techniques.

We work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary, translational research environment that provides a unique opportunity for professional development. This is achieved through independent research as part of a multidisciplinary team of investigators with many opportunities to advance technical and communication skills, expand discipline-specific knowledge, and gain broad familiarity and expertise in complementary fields of science.

The qualified candidates have a MD and/or PhD degree in vascular biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, imaging sciences, bioengineering, or related fields and a track record of high quality publications. Ability to work in a team environment and strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience in animal work is preferred.
