A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Chongyi Chen at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institutes of Health (NIH). The potential projects are to investigate the dynamics and regulation of DNA topology upon mitotic chromosome condensation, and to investigate the role of DNA topology in gene expression regulation in human cells. The Chen lab study chromatin structure, DNA topology, and gene expression regulation in human cells, by various genomic technologies and single-cell sequencing assays newly invented in the lab. The laboratory is located in the NIH main campus, together with >1000 labs, and >100 National Academy of Sciences/Medicine members.
