Position Description | Accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position working with Professor David Weitz, focusing on liquid-liquid phase separation in cells and the role of the cytoskeleton in the formation and properties of condensates. Successful candidates must be able to work as part of team performing research to support the project. Additional responsibilities include preparation of publications and reports, mentoring of graduate students, and collaboration with other groups. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, be technically skilled, and have excellent oral and written skills. Start dates are flexible, but the positions will be filled as soon as possible and will initially be for one year, renewable for additional years following performance review and funding availability. |
Basic Qualifications | Doctorate or terminal degree in applied physics, micro fluidics, or other relevant field by the time the appointment begins. |
