Updated: about 2 months ago

Join the forefront of groundbreaking research at the Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope, where we're changing lives and making a real difference in the fight against cancer, diabetes, and other life-threatening illnesses. Our dedicated and compassionate faculty and staff are driven by a common mission: Contribute to innovative approaches in predicting, preventing, and curing diseases, shaping the future of medicine through cutting-edge research.

The Schones lab at City of Hope is recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow.  Current projects in the lab are related to the epigenetic regulation of the genome and how epigenetic modifications contribute to complex diseases such as diabetes, obesity and cancer. There is a strong interest in the epigenetic regulation of repetitive elements of the genome. We are a highly collaborative lab and work with many other groups at CoH and other institutions.

Dr. Schones is committed to providing mentorship and training to achieve the postdoctoral fellow’s unique long-term career goals. The postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to engage in scientific and professional development, including presenting their work at local and national conferences.  For more information on Dr. Schones’ research please visit here .
