Join the forefront of groundbreaking research at the
Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope, where we're changing lives and making a real difference in the fight against cancer, diabetes, and other life-threatening illnesses. Our dedicated and compassionate faculty and staff are driven by a common mission: Contribute to innovative approaches in predicting, preventing, and curing diseases, shaping the future of medicine through cutting-edge research.
The Department of Diabetes Complications and Metabolism is at the leading edge of research on the complications of diabetes and was the first to study epigenetic changes in diabetes complications. The department uses state-of-the-art computational and systems biology data-analysis methods, genomic and epigenomic profiling approaches, novel transgenic mouse models, and translational approaches to study connections between diabetes, obesity, and cancer.
A postdoctoral position is immediately available in the Tompkins lab within the Department of Diabetes Complications and Metabolism at City of Hope. We are seeking highly motivated individuals interested in stem cell biology (pluripotent and hematopoietic), directed differentiation, and locus-specific epigenetic editing in regenerative medicine. For more information about the Tompkins lab, please visit here.
