Postdoctoral Fellow - Cifani Lab

The Cifani Lab at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory seeks a curious, creative, and passionate Postdoctoral Fellow with a strong background in mass spectrometry-based proteomics to lead a project focusing on methods to measure non-canonical post-translational modification and on defining their functional role in cancer and normal cell homeostasis. In addition, the postdoctoral fellow will participate in other research programs in the lab (single-cell proteomics and protein interaction profiling) and in collaborative projects within the CSHL Cancer Center, CSHL at large, and partner institutions.

Education: The successful candidate has a PhD or equivalent title, obtained within the last 2 years (or in the process of obtaining it).
Skills/Experience: Hands-on experience with nano-scale chromatography and high-resolution mass spectrometry and a solid knowledge of the theoretical basis of these technologies are essential.

The salary for this role is $72,800.00 per annum. The salary range or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
