Job Description:
The Program in Image-Guided Neurointerventions (PIGN ) in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM) in Baltimore, MD, USA has openings for National Institutes of Health-funded positions for Postdoctoral Fellows and Research Associates. We are looking for highly passionate and driven scientists with extensive experience and skills in stem cell biology and rodent surgery. Additional desirable skills include molecular cloning, stem cell culture, lenti or AAV packaging, and quantitative biological assays. Successful Postdoctoral Fellow applicants are expected to be recent PhD graduates or those who are about to graduate. Research Associates should have a proven track record in genetic engineering of cells and surgeries in mice. These positions are for a minimum of 3-5 years with the possibility of extending employment and future career development. For both positions, outstanding skills in molecular biology is a must. Salary level will be aligned with NIH and UMSOM guidelines.
PIGN is physically located in the brand new HSFIII building at the University of Maryland, Baltimore campus located near downtown Baltimore and its famous Inner Harbor.
