Job Description:

The Postdoctoral Associate will work independently and collaboratively to discover protein degraders (e.g. PROTAC and Molecular glue degraders) and/or ligands against E3 ligase. The training opportunities and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Leading the design, synthesis, and characterization of protein degraders, chemical probes, or/and small molecule ligands; 
  • Leading the development and optimization of chemical biology, biochemical, or/and biophysical assays;  
  • Preparing and writing research papers, presentations etc; 
  • Mentoring undergraduate and graduate students; 
  • Performing routine lab maintenance and daily lab duties.

Expected Salary:

Salary as defined by NIH guidelines, and based on education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Ph.D. degree or equivalent international degree in medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry, chemical biology, pharmaceutical sciences, cell biology, pharmacology, biophysics or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated expertise in drug-discovery, medicinal chemistry or/and chemical biology research; Self-motivation, fast-learning and can-do attitude; Strong written and oral communication skills; Keeping peace in a dynamic research environment.
