Piccoli’s lab at Rutgers University-Camden is seeking a candidate for a Postdoctoral Associate starting October 1, 2019. The candidate should have research experience in mathematical modeling with partial differential equations and probability solutions in spaces endowed with the Wasserstein metric. The candidate will perform research on mean-field limits models and control of vehicular traffic. The candidate is expected to have a PhD in mathematics or related areas and show a strong record of research results in mathematical modeling and/or mathematical analysis.
