Postdoctoral Researcher Position in the Hu lab, Yale University School of Medicine

Overview

Dr. Wei Hu’s laboratory at Yale University School of Medicine is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher to join their interdisciplinary team. The Hu Lab is jointly affiliated with the Department of Immunobiology and the Institute of Biomolecular Design and Discovery (IBDD), working at the interface between immunology and chemical biology. The lab utilizes cutting-edge genetic, biochemical, and chemical tools to explore the biology of regulatory T (Treg) cells across various physiological and pathological contexts, including autoimmunity, cancer, and maternal-fetal immunity. The overarching goal is to unravel the context-specific functions of Treg cells at the cellular and molecular levels and develop strategies to manipulate Treg cells for disease intervention. For detailed information, please visit our lab website: www.weihulab.org.

We welcome scientists from diverse backgrounds to join our growing team. The unique dual affiliation with the Department of Immunobiology and IBDD provides an exceptional opportunity for interaction with two vibrant scientific communities at Yale, enabling you to expand your scientific knowledge and vision. You will benefit from regular interaction and prompt feedback from the principal investigator, as well as the flexibility to explore different research directions based on your expertise and interests. Our commitment to the professional growth of team members includes encouraging applications for fellowships and awards, participation in courses and conferences, and engagement in networking and career development activities.
