POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research-Love Lab, to establish methods to profile tumors directly from blood samples as part of a highly collaborative team of scientists, engineers, oncologists, and computational biologists.  Will be principally responsible for developing and validating highly sensitive methods for analyzing select somatic alterations in circulating cell-free DNA. Will also be responsible for communicating results to the scientific community by way of presentations and publications.

REQUIRED:  a Ph.D., preferably in molecular biology or related field; experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR or sequencing library construction; and familiarity with cancer genomics or the analysis of DNA sequencing data. Seeking a highly motivated individual capable of working with a multidisciplinary team spanning multiple institutions. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are required, as well as the ability to follow safety procedures and to maintain a safe work environment. The ability to contribute in a multidisciplinary team setting, prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, and to execute detailed technical protocols meticulously are mandatory.
