Position Summary:


The Department of Physics and Astronomy/SAS at Rutgers University plans to hire a Postdoctoral Associate in experimental condensed matter physics. The position's anticipated duration is two years; please note that an extension to the second year is upon mutual written agreement between the parties. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in condensed matter physics or a related field, demonstrate excellence in research and have strong communication skills. Experience with neutron or x-ray scattering is strongly preferred. Successful candidate will engage in neutron and x-ray scattering studies of quantum magnetism, as well as in sample growth/characterization. Applicants must provide a CV, cover letter, and three letters of recommendation.

Minimum Education and Experience:


Candidates should have a Ph.D. in condensed matter physics or a related field, demonstrate excellence in research and have strong communication skills. Experience with neutron or x-ray scattering is strongly preferred
