This postdoctoral fellow will conduct research on identifying gene regulatory mechanisms contributing to poly-cystic ovarian syndrome, and will write manuscripts describing results of that research. In particular, the research will involve estimating regulatory element activity using STARR-seq assays, and estimating the effects of non-coding genetic variation on regulatory activity.
Requirements include expertise with experimental methods to measure gene regulatory activity in human cell lines; expertise in the computational analysis of those results; and expertise in the genetic contributions to poly-cystic ovarian syndrome.
