Position Description and Resources

You will be involved in the Department's research activities as Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of  Medicine, Division of Nephrology. The primary duties for this position are related to renal and cardiovascular research.

Research Activities : All of your time will be reserved for research activities. We expect you will focus your research in physiologic, molecular and genetic mechanisms of kidney and cardiovascular diseases.  Your duties will include collecting samples from mice for genotyping purposes, mouse colony breeding, set-up and harvest of whole animal experiments, execution of in vitro studies, and phenotypic and gene expression analysis.

Resources :  You will have access to all laboratory equipment and supplies necessary in MSRB 2 and the Durham VA, as well as, shared resources within the Division.
