The Beratan Lab of Duke Chemistry is seeking a candidate with a Ph.D. in Chemistry, and a detailed understanding of the experimental and theoretical underpinnings of multi-dimensional spectroscopy. The candidate will carry out theoretical modeling and simulations associated with these spectra in complex molecular assemblies. The candidate will also contribute to the study of mechanisms for electronic excitation energy and electron transfer in the condensed phase, using modern methods of theory, modeling and simulation. The candidate will also participate in Duke’s Freshman Focus teaching program and should have a record of outstanding teaching.
