CHARACTERISTIC OF THE JOB 
Under general supervision of Dr. Mikhail Nikiforov, conduct independent research in the area of cell and cancer biology. Responsibilities include: 1. Development of new and implementation and modification of existing experimental procedures 2. Data preparation for oral presentations, grant applications and publication in professional journals 4. Implementation of bioinformatics approaches 5. Training of lower-level technical personnel, undergraduate and graduate students.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND GIVEN 
Oral and/or written instructions are received from supervision. Provide direction and guidance to less classified personnel.
ACCEPTABLE QUALIFICATIONS
A PhD or MD degree in a relevant field, extensive hands-on experience in basic biochemistry and molecular biology techniques, work with mice including various routes of drug delivery and biostatistics tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
