Summary
Postdoctoral Associate position available for candidates with molecular biology expertise and strong genetic background needed to follow-up on discovery of regulator elements of MeCP2 and will identify the transcription factors that bind them. This position will also screen for post-translational regulators of MeCP2. The Postdoctoral Associate will be using molecular techniques, cell culture techniques, IPSC-derived neurons and mouse models.
Job Duties
- Plans, directs and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
- Evaluates and analyzes data.
- May establish new research protocols and procedures.
- Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals.
- May be responsible for laboratory operations.
- May supervise research staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
