The Cardiac Imaging Research Team (CIRT) at Cedars-Sinai, under the direction of Daniel Berman, M.D., is seeking a Postdoctoral Scientist. You will participate in all aspects of a broad cardiac imaging research program which includes research in multimodality cardiac imaging (cardiac CT, MRI, PET and SPECT). Will work on ongoing research projects and will be encouraged to initiate your own independent research. Will organize and compile data, conduct data analysis, and participate in generating publications and presentations as first author or co-author and will participate in weekly investigator meetings and attend weekly Grand Rounds, case review sessions, and other educational lectures.

You will complete the CSMC IRB-sponsored certification in human subjects research principles. The position also provides an opportunity to develop clinical skills in cardiac CT, MRI, PET and SPECT within the research setting. You should be highly self motivated and have a strong academic career interest as well as the ability to work independently but in close cooperation and in consultation with the multidisciplinary faculty comprised of cardiologists, imaging physicians, and imaging scientists in the Departments of Imaging and Medicine, the Cedars- Sinai Heart Institute.

Educational requirements:

  • PhD or Medical Degree (US or foreign); post-graduate training in cardiology, radiology, or nuclear medicine is required
