Job Description:
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Iowa State University is seeking a postdoc research associate to be actively involved in projects on optimization, data analytics, and control in power distribution systems. The selected candidate will work very closely with partners from utility companies and national labs, and use real utility data and models to address practical problems.

Applicants are expected to be strongly motivated researchers that have an outstanding academic track record, well developed analytical and problem-solving skills, and good communication skills.


Required Minimum Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering or related field


Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience and achievements in power distribution systems, optimization, data analytics or control.

• Record of contribution to challenging research projects requiring creativity and initiative.

• Contribution to the preparation of papers and talks for prestigious journals and international conferences.
