Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy (www.pharmacy.unc.edu) is one of five health science schools (Pharmacy, Nursing, Dentistry, Public Health, Medicine) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is one of the oldest health science academic programs at Chapel Hill. The School teaches approximately 600 PharmD students, 100 PhD students, and 20 Master’s students. Position Summary
The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry (CBMC) is looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who have expertise in one or more of the following areas: organic and/or peptide synthesis, synthesis and handling of light-sensitive compounds, handling and characterization of protein activity, assembly and characterization of liposomes.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Ph.D. in Chemistry or Biochemistry, or related field of study.

 Ph.D. in Chemistry or Biochemistry, or related field of study. 
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Expertise in one or more of the following is preferred: organic and/or peptide synthesis, synthesis and handling of light sensitive compounds, handling and characterization of protein activity, assembly and characterization of liposomes.
