The Li Lab in Department of Psychology, within the College of Arts and Sciences, seeks a Post Doctoral Researcher to join our team. The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college and the academic heart of the university. The College hosts 81 majors. This position has an initial term of one year.  

The Li Lab is directed by Dr. Hsin-Hung Li. The postdoctoral researcher conducts research in the areas of visual attention, working memory and decision-making; formulates new projects for studies. The postdoctoral researcher will design behavioral and neuroimaging (fMRI and EEG) experiment; recruit human participants; collect behavioral and neuroimaging data; analyze neural and behavioral data using programming languages such as Python and MATLAB; prepare manuscript for publication in peerreviewed journals; present findings in conferences and seminars; and assist with supervision and training predoctoral researchers or assistants. Position available is for one year with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory.  

Minimum Education Required  

Ph.D. in Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Sciences or similar  

Required Qualifications

The candidates are expected to have prior research experience in visual perception, visual cognition or decision-making, and have track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals. Candidates must have proficient skills in programming languages (Python and MATLAB), and experiences in modeling neuroimaging (fMRI, EEG/MEG) and behavioral data. 


Additional Information:

The pay range for this job profile is $50,000 -$60,000. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
