This position performs fundamental research pertinent to mathematical analysis of scale-resolved turbulence, with emphasis on linear as well as non-linear techniques for stability and resolvent. Develops and deploys advanced statistical tools to extract physics insights with linear algebra based modal decompositions.

Performs literature review, documents procedures, disseminates research results for publication and presentation at conferences and archival journals; assists in writing research proposals.

Minimum Education Requirement:      

Doctorate (Academic)

#1 Major: Mechanical Engineering or #2 Major: Aerospace Engineering

Experience :

Required: Doctoral degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, expertise in the fields of DNA nanotechnology and the development of DNA devices for biosensing applications in cell microenvironments. Strong written communication skills

Desired: Self-motivated and able to work in a team with minimal supervision.

The Targeted Hiring Range for this position is $46,100 to $61,500
