The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry within the College of Arts and Sciences, seeks a Post Doctoral Scholar to perform independent research in the Bong research lab. Post Doctoral Scholars are expected to lead analyses critical to the Bong research program and to contribute to the design of chemical, biological and biophysical experiments. Duties will include taking and analyzing data, presenting results at conferences/workshops, writing manuscripts to publish results in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to the Bong research program, assisting with extramural funding proposals, mentoring students and supporting group activities through collaborative service work.
Qualifications:
Doctoral Degree in Chemistry with specialization in nanotechnology, polymers, lipids or related area required. Demonstrated experience in delivery required. Research interest in nucleic acids desired. Strong software skills in chemdraw, powerpoint, graphpad desired.

The pay range for this job profile is $48,000 - $60,000. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
