Job Summary:

We are actively seeking a motivated Post Doc Scholar / Bioinformatician to join our dynamic research team at Hasanov Lab in PIIO. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of single-cell and spatial data analysis, tumor biology, and immunology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process, analyze, and interpret high-dimensional data from various omics platforms.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to answer crucial questions in tumor biology and immunology.

• Publish research findings in high-impact journals.

• Provide bioinformatics support and training to team members.

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a related field (Computational Biology, Population Genetics/Genomics, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics).

• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, R, or Perl.

• Experience with single-cell and spatial data analysis tools and techniques

• Deep knowledge of tumor biology and immunology.

• Strong publication record.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in cloud computing and familiarity with high-performance computing environments.

• Expertise in database management and seamless data integration.

• Prior engagement in oncological research.

• Hands-on experience with specific single-cell screening methods, including but not limited to Perturb/CROP-seq, sci-Plex, Reprogram-seq, and their counterparts.
