The Ohio State University, College of Engineering, William G. Lowrie Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering is seeking a Post Doctoral Scholar to work under the supervision of Dr. W.S. Winston Ho.

The Post Doctoral Scholar will conduct research primarily in the areas of membrane separations, including carbon dioxide capture from flue gas and synthesis gas, biosyngas purification, olefin/paraffin separation, and hydrogen purification from syngas for electricity generation, chemical synthesis and fuel cell applications; develop new research results for new and/or continuing research activities; research results to answer important questions in the scientific field and accounts for previously unexplained phenomena for new and/or continuing research projects; participate in determining priorities and planning research programs; carry out engineering related research, makes and records observations and measurements, collects and compiles data for computer input and analysis, perform literature search on related topics, and operates and maintains laboratory equipment; oversee graduate and undergraduate students involved in the projects; prepare research results for publication in reports, papers, journals, books, tutorials, and other media; perform other duties as assigned.


Required Education:
PhD in Chemical Engineering or equivalent degree
Desired Education:
PhD in Chemical Engineering or equivalent degree
Required Experience:
1 year of research experience on membrane separations.
Desired Experience:

3 years of research experience on membrane separations
