Post Doctoral Scholar


Department:
Engineering | Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering

Design and conduct experiments relevant to the project goals. Collect and analyze data using the most appropriate methods and protocols. Collaborate with the principal investigator and other team members in defining project goals. Apply statistical methods to analyze experimental or observational data. Analyze data results thoroughly and draw conclusions based on the analysis. Prepare research papers for publication in scientific journals. Contribute significantly to the writing of grant proposals and reports. Supervise and mentor undergraduate and high school students. Present research findings at conferences or seminars. Collaborate effectively with other researchers and team members. Communicate research progress to the principal investigator.

Required Education:

PhD in Zoology, Microbial Biotechnology or Equivalent

Desired Education:

PhD in Microbiology, Biochemistry or Equivalent

Required Experience:

Molecular cloning, enzymology, experimental design, microbiological methods.

Desired Experience:

Grant writing, manuscript preparation, bioinformatics.
