Post-Doctoral Research Associate - Physics and Astronomy Center for Advanced Materials & Manufacturing The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN, United States Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research associate position in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville to begin in Spring or Summer 2024. The successful applicant will work together with Professor Adrian Del Maestro on projects related to AI-assisted theoretical/computational modeling and collaborate with researchers from Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Electrical Engineering. Research will involve feedback loops between theory and experiment, evaluating quantum materials design & growth and spectroscopy techniques such as neutron scattering and photoemission.

Qualifications: · PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, Computer Science or other discipline related to artificial intelligence. · A strong publication and research record. · Research experience in artificial intelligence for quantum systems/materials.
