The Communication Sciences and Disorders Department (CSD) at Georgia State University is looking for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate. In this role the Post-Doctoral Research Associate will manage the regulatory research functions of active studies related to alternative interventions for aphasia and manage study recruitment and enrollment moving toward independence as the Fellowship progresses. This position is for a two-year appointment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Serve as Lab Manager for the Language Recovery & Communication Technology Lab.
• Assist with the collection and analysis of data related to alternative interventions.
• Assist with outlining and writing manuscripts and grants related to alternative interventions.
• Present work at regional, national, and international venues.
• Assist with preparing conference abstracts, proposals, conference presentation related to alternative interventions.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate students on projects related to alternative interventions for aphasia (e.g., thesis, dissertations, independent studies, treatment related to studies).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
