Position Summary
The High Energy Neutrino Physics group at Indiana University invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow position. Our Neutrino Physics group holds pivotal roles across a wide range of experiments and collaborations, including NOvA, DUNE, MicroBooNE, and nuclear physics experiments that search for neutrino-less double beta decay and coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering.
The position offers flexibility in the start date, with the earliest start on Sept 1, 2024. Applications will be reviewed starting Dec. 15, 2023, and will continue until the position is filled. Initially, the appointment will be for one year, with the expectation that it will be extended up to an additional two years.

Basic Qualifications
The successful candidate will be joining an exciting research program that covers a wide range of topics, including BSM studies, neutrino interaction cross sections, and detector development. Specifically, they will have the opportunity to work on experimental data from existing experiments, in particular, MicroBooNE, as well as work on building prototypes for experiments we plan to build in the future, in particular, DUNE. Our team places a strong emphasis on mentoring, and we will support the successful candidate in developing a research program aligned with their interests. A Ph.D in physics is required at time of appointment.
