Advertised Job Summary | The position primarily will involve engagement with funded HIV and COVID-19 research at the South Carolina Department of Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior and SmartState Center for Healthcare Quality (CHQ) at University of South Carolina (UofSC) Arnold School of Public Health. |

Required Education and Experience | Ph.D. in Public Health or closely related social sciences field by the start date of employment. |
Preferred Qualifications | - Expertise in public health, which could have been gained during the normal course of a doctoral degree program. - Must be detail-oriented and have strong writing skills, including evidence for leadership conceptualizing and writing scientific publications. - Expertise leading quantitative analyses, including analyses of survey data. - Expertise with evaluation of communication and policy effects on perceptions and behaviors. |
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities | Required to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations. Excellent oral and written communication skills. |
