Position Description
Advertised Job Summary | The postdoctoral researcher will integrate density functional theory calculations and machine learning techniques to perform high-throughput screening of chemical compounds. The objective is to identify intriguing chemical properties resulting from the combination of diverse elements. |

Required Education and Experience | Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Materials Science or related field (such as Physics, Chemistry) or be in the process of defending their Ph.D. (ABDs may be considered). |
Preferred Qualifications | Expertise with computational simulations is preferred. |
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities | Proficiency in scientific computer programming, atomistic simulations, and/or machine learning (ML) is ideal. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to function collaboratively in a research setting are necessary. |
