| Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit | CTBR, located at the North Carolina Research Campus in Kannapolis, NC, conducts basic and translational research related to human diseases, with a focus on the development of novel intervention strategies for disease prevention and treatment. |
| Position Summary | This position is expected to perform research in the area of alcohol-related organ injury. The research projects aim at understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms of alcohol-induced pathogenesis at the gut-liver axis and exploring preventive and/or therapeutic interventions. Data generated from the projects will be used to support external funding applications. |
