All About You


A Senior Postdoctoral Position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Anutosh Chakraborty at Saint Louis University, Missouri. The Chakraborty lab is interested in deciphering functions of novel proteins/enzymes in obesity, insulin resistance and NAFLD/NASH. The lab has generated various knockout mouse models of a novel ubiquitin ligase and its interacting proteins. The fellow will work to determine mechanisms by which this ligase and its interacting proteins regulate development and progression of obesity, insulin resistance and NAFLD/NASH. He/she will also be involved in understanding the role of these proteins in insulin signaling and cell metabolism and survival in liver and adipose tissue. The candidate should have a strong publication record in the areas of molecular/cellular biology, biochemistry and mouse models of obesity, NAFLD/NASH, or other metabolic/inflammatory diseases.
