Position Summary | Postdoctoral Fellow in Neuroimaging Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Indiana University School of Medicine seeks candidates for a Postdoctoral Fellow in neuroimaging. Qualifications: We are looking for applicants who are interested in multi-modal neuroimaging and data processing. Publication records and skills in imaging data processing with software tools (e.g., Matlab or Python) may play a significant role in selecting. About us: Our lab focuses on developing novel imaging and analytical techniques for understanding neurofluid dynamics in health and disease conditions (e.g., CSF dynamics and hemodynamics that are related to the brain’s clearance function). Our imaging technique involves dynamic diffusion imaging (dynamic DWI), functional MRI (fMRI), arterial spin labeling (ASL), and structural imaging (T1/T2/FLAIR). The lab is an interdisciplinary environment with strong collaborations with the School of Engineering at Purdue University. Our clinical focuses are Alzheimer’s disease, cerebrovascular diseases, and other neurodegenerative diseases. Candidates have opportunities to be exposed to pulse sequence programming, clinical collaborations with Neurologists, Neuroradiologists, and Psychiatrists, and research collaborations with faculty and Computer Scientists at Purdue University. Lab website: https://sites.google.com/view/wenlab/home About IU: The Indiana Institute for Biomedical Imaging Sciences houses two high-end research-dedicated 3T Siemens Prisma scanners with 32CH and 64CH receiver head coil, two PET-CT systems, and a Brucker 9.4T high-field PET-MRI preclinical scanner. As the nation’s largest medical school, IUSM is committed to being an institution that not only reflects the diversity of the learners we teach and the patient populations we serve, but also pursues the values of diversity, equity and inclusion that inform academic excellence. We invite individuals who will join us in our mission to advance racial equity to transform health and well being for all throughout the state of Indiana. How to apply: If interested, please send a cover letter and CV to Qiuting Wen ([email protected]), Assistant Professor of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Indiana University School of Medicine. The immediate position is a two-year term with a possible extension upon satisfaction. Salary will follow NIH guidelines and will be commensurate with experience. |
