Summary of Job Duties:
The Post Doctoral Fellow will perform research, supervise graduate students, write grant proposals, and produce publications.
Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or closely related field conferred by the start of employment
Experience in research in power electronics design and test
Experience with the use of machine learning or artificial intelligence methods for electronic design automation
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer to have experience in research areas containing an emphasis on grid-connected power electronics and/or transportation power electronics and composition of design automation software – particularly involving artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, and multi-objective optimization methods
Proven track record of publication in high quality power electronics related journals and conferences
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Programming in C/C++ and/or Python
Ability to run power electronics circuit simulations in PLECS or Spice-like tools
Ability to make public presentations on research work
