Posting Summary
The applications are invited for two postdoctoral associate positions at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rutgers University. The projects will be experimental in nature requiring expertise in (a) oxide materials synthesis and (b) electrical/device characterization. Areas of interest include materials and devices for brain-inspired computing and artificial intelligence. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree with a background in condensed matter sciences and relevant science/engineering disciplines. We are seeking outstanding candidates who are highly motivated and have a strong academic record. Cleanroom experience using lithography is desirable. The positions report to Prof. Shriram Ramanathan.
COVID-19 Immunization Requirement
Rutgers University requires all new employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the employee a medical or religious exemption. Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related fields
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Fabricate thin films by sputtering or atomic layer deposition, electrical transport measurements on semiconductor devices, write journal papers and prepare technical reports.
Equipment Utilized
UHV thin film deposition systems, probe station used for electrical transport measurements.
