The Hart Lab at the Department of Cell Biology and Neuroscience at Rutgers School of Arts and Sciences is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate to join our dynamic research team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a research project focused on studying the human genetic risk of alcoholism in neurons, astrocytes, and microglia derived from stem cells. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of neuroscience.

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
Ph.D. in Neuroscience or related field.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Candidate must have experience with human induced pluripotent stem cells and differentiation methods to prepare neurons, astrocytes and microglia. Experience making cerebral organoids would be helpful. Standard neuroscience and molecular biology experience is required. All skills must be demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications.
