Position Summary
The Zannas lab in the Department of Psychiatry seeks a postdoctoral fellow interested in studying the epigenetic mechanisms linking psychosocial stress with coronary heart disease. The successful candidate will work in an interdisciplinary environment and will lead epigenome-wide analyses in DNA derived from both large-scale studies in human cohorts and mechanistic experiments in cellular models. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Ph.D in computational biology/bioinformatics, biostatistics, or related field
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Ph.D in computational biology/bioinformatics, biostatistics, or related field. Experience in bioinformatics analyses using large-scale data and knowledge of relevant programming languages is required
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Previous experience in analyzing sequencing and DNA methylation data, fluency in R and Python languages, and previous record of scholarly accomplishments are strongly preferred.
