Position Summary
Postdoc Research Associate position is available in Lineberger Cancer Center. Research topics include investigation into the molecular mechanisms by which cancer-associated human papillomaviruses (HPV) manipulate DNA repair pathways and avoid innate immune responses to promote viral replication and persistence, a major risk factor for cancer development. Additional projects are available to investigate mechanisms by which the HPV life cycle is epigenetically regulated. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with a strong background in molecular/cellular biology, virology, immunology, and/or related field.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
PhD in virology, molecular biology, cell biology or related field.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Experience with tissue culture and molecular biology techniques is preferred. Qualified applicants should possess strong communication skills, creativity, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently
