Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit | The UNC Adams School of Dentistry Division of Oral and Craniofacial Health Sciences is the home of the faculty heavily involved in research and/or teaching in the Foundational and Biomedical Sciences. |
Position Summary | Duties will include performing clinical and translational human subjects research, data analysis, manuscript preparation (i.e. writing, figures, tables), research presentations, mentoring/training other lab members, regulatory documentation preparation (i.e. IRB), working with interdisciplinary research teams in the lab, budget planning and management of grants held by the lead faculty member, teaching seminars, and maintaining course, student and lab records. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements | PhD, DDS, DMD, MD or equivalent doctoral degree is required. |

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience | Background in dentistry, orthodontics, behavioral research or speech sciences preferred. |
